Expectations vs. Reality of Paris so far. As well as Day 3 Recap. June 1st 2022. DAY 3!

                                                        -Expectations  vs Reality**.--
Today was day three of being on the grounds in Paris, and my expectations were steep on a few things. The first thing I needed to correct was the size of many spaces. Don’t get me wrong, this place is massive, but many things are different from what I’m used to in America. As I mentioned in yesterday’s blog, I went grocery shopping, and my jaw dropped when I walked in. In America, the store has 15 different aisles, but here, there were only really 2 aisles. It put me in my place, to be honest. The food here has exceeded my expectations; everything is so pure; the bakeries are excellent: 1000 times better than your Starbucks or Tim Hortons you may get back home.
Another thing that really exceeded my expectations was the transportation system. It’s amazing. I thought getting around would be a challenge, but it’s genuinely not. All you must do is find the route, and you're ready to go.

-----Part 2: overview  Day 3 Recap and Photos--------------------------------------------

It’s day three today, and man, today was amazing. I have figured out the time change very well so far. Today, I woke up at around 6:30 to make sure I left on time to meet the group for our morning tour. We saw places like Notre Dame Cathedral and some homes in the neighborhood. It was a beautiful day today, the perfect temperature for a walk. After today’s walk, some group went to a café where I had sugar Crêpes for my meal. They tasted fantastic with a good crisp to them. After our second class session, some groups explored different shops around town. For relaxation tonight, we went on a fantastic river cruise. It was cool to see Paris from a different perspective. Tomorrow, we visit Chantilly, so look for that in tomorrow’s blog. But until tomorrow comes, au revoir to you.

Before you go, here are some pictures from today:
